I am a 30 year old game master and game designer. I work in the hospitality industry by day and throw myself into extraordinary fantasy worlds by night... or vice versa -- flexible scheduling! I discovered role-playing thanks to my dad, and the habit was nurtured by my sister, and it grew out of control into this wild garden in my soul over the years. Now, it's all I can do to water it and give it sun by getting out there and finding more people to run games for.
I've got experience with several games beyond the LFGM list, and I'd be happy to bring them to the table: Apocalypse World, Dungeon World, World Wide Wrestling, Blades in the Dark, Tachyon Squadron, Imp of the Perverse, Ironsworn, Burning Wheel, Headspace, Technoir, Dogs in the Vineyard, and more. Feel free to inquire!
My GM style is heavily informed by games such as Apocalypse World and Dungeon World: I am enthusiastic, I am encouraging, I am a fan of my players, and I love to ask questions to give us a better idea of who our characters are. I love to reincorporate what we already know, lending events deeper meaning as random dice rolls and momentary decisions build up into something awesome over time. I follow rules as they're written, as I believe they're the engine that powers the game, and I love to interrogate the interactions of rules to find how they are intended to be fun... but I'm definitely not above throwing something out or rebuilding it if it is not serving us at the table, where it absolutely has to.
I should really describe my playstyle.
