Thanks for stopping by my bio here on LookingforGM.com
I am a PaidGM, and I also run sponsored and/or playtest campaigns (which means Players may not have pay-to-play - that may be covered by corporate sponsorship or platform/location)
I've worked with and for some of the major publishing companies in TTRPG and have been GMing since around 1980.
I (fingers crossed) hopefully have some range in both adjudication and Mentorship.
I have a price sheet if you are looking for a custom event for your private group; corporate event or looking for a product evangelist for a convention or playtest/development.
If you are a GM looking for support; I'm comfortable with Roll20; FoundryVTT; and less so FantasyGround /FGUnity.
I've a ton of tricks, techniques and resources to share; hopefully if you're stuck or looking for a Co-GM / critical review, you'll consider connecting with me.
Thank you for stopping by
I am a modular DM; While I naturally gravitate to about 40-60 split between (40 Combat) - (60 Roleplay) (ie in a 4 hour session 2.5 hours RP/Exploration; 1.5 hour combat); that's just ad hoc gravitation. When I work with a party I try to get a consensus of what the party is looking for and will craft the experience towards that end, often having "chapters" of the experience we build together being more focused on narrative subplot arcs for specific character's development and engagement.
I believe in the pillars of CombatSocial Interaction and Exploration, and try to keep the RAI (Rules as Intended) with an eye out for balance/exploit concerns.
So I'm willing to explore with homebrew, but I will often need to moderate that a bit, as there are times homebrew creations interact poorly with some other game mechanics.
I like social interaction in my playstyle and self-directed (ie a co-created narrative) goal setting.
The best games I've run are largely due to the passion and engagement of a good team, and I work to foster that sort of engagement and experience within my playgroup and the parties for whom I am GM'ing.
As a player, I tend to play support/utility to backfill needed elements and to foster what I see the group (which DOES include the GM) wants to accomplish.
I'll look forward to being with you... at the table, virtual or IRL.
