I am an editor, writer and content creator as well as a passionate professional GM. All money I make through GMing, writing and well anything connected to roleplaying goes towards my youth charities.
My name is Joanne, I go by Planar Crossroads online. On a rainy Saturday morning in August 2000, I arrived in the country I now call home, Germany. One day later I would discover roleplaying, not HeroQuest or the dungeon style boardgames, no, the sort that you could lose yourself in. Not two days later I took my first step as a DM after discovering the Player's Handbook for D&D 3rd Ed. Oh my god, my world was complete.
Since that fateful rainy day, I have gone on to play over 100 different systems and editions. Everything from playtesting them to creating my own settings for them. I felt as if a blindfold had been removed from my eyes and for the first time my imagination could fly beyond the barriers of reality.
I am also an editor and writer for a selections of rpg publishers. A little secret, I do publish GM resources on a monthly bases.
Due to personal experiences and reasons, I created a number of youth groups located around me to give those of school age a safe place to go to escape bullying, abuse and just the world. In these safe places the youths can emerge themselves in roleplaying and miniature painting. All of this costs money and my activities cover those expenses. My second project is two groups for youths who are dying and in long term care in hospital, as with my first project they are provided with the resources to roleplay and paint miniatures. These projects are why I became a professional GM, these projects are my passion and without my players they would not be a reality.
It is hard to narrow my GMing style down, as I do everything from play by post to large convention games. Classic Hack and Slay to intensive roleplaying sessions or everything inbetween. I am even willing to discuss erotic roleplay...I am open to most things as long as you can imagine it. I like to provide my players with a mixture of combat, investigation and roleplay, but what is done in a session is influenced by the player/s.
I custom create content, settings, races and so much more to help my players truly bring 'The Character' to life...all within the limits of the many systems that I game master.
Dungeons and Dragons, most editions. Das Schwarze Auge, 4.1 and 5th editions. The Dark Eye, 5th edition. Pathfinder, 1st and 2nd edition. And more (you will find them listed in my profile). Do you want to try a new system, but find the lack of GM for that system prevents you from reaching this goal? I pick up new systems quickly and I am open to learning most. Drop me a private message with your inquiries.
I run games locally and online.
Play by post starts at $20 a month with up to three posts a week.
One on one sessions start at $15 an hour, such games are adapted to your personal wishes and desires....please understand that the hourly rate does change, depending on what is required and each session includes one hour prep time that you will be charged for. (Erotic roleplay, Furry erotic roleplay and more are all possible). Due to prep work that goes into these sessions, you will be charged for 4 hours in advanced, this will be deducted from your first session.
Group sessions start at $10 a session per person, again this varies depending on what requirements are discussed and prep is needed in advance.
One shots are 4 hours long and set at $20 per person.
I am the sort of player who likes a mixture of combat, investigation and roleplay. I love to test my limits as a player, and have a strong preference for character development.
I have not yet found a system that I am not willing to play at least a dozen times.
